Hi, I’m Kent Gethmann, an Agent and Financial Advisor with Farm Bureau Financial Services serving Northwest Iowa. I’m passionate about helping individuals, families, and business owners protect what matters most and build a strong financial future. I take pride in offering a range of personalized solutions that fit your goals whether it’s insurance, investments, or long-term planning.

Before joining Farm Bureau, I worked in credit tenant lease financing, partnering with commercial real estate owners across the country. I’ve also worked for two community banks, focusing on commercial real estate and ag lending.— a combined 20 plus years of experience that’s given me a solid foundation in risk management and financial strategy.

My wife Kahley and I have lived in Spencer since 2017, and we love raising our three boys Teagan, Jax, and Beckham in Northwest Iowa. Outside of work, you’ll find me on the golf course, coaching, at the lake or enjoying time with my family. Growing up 50 minutes west of Minneapolis, I’m also an avid Minnesota sports fan.

I’m proud to serve on the board of the Spencer Golf & Country Club and the Spencer Tailtwisters Athletic Booster Club, where I enjoy supporting local athletics and community events.
